THE ASK
Ashley wanted to create cohesive branding and a unique visual identity that could be used across YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms. The goal was to develop professional branding with the intent to attract brand sponsors and increase her impressions to click ratio. Her aesthetic draws heavily on inspiration from old Hollywood: romantic and glam with a hint of luxury.

THE FONT SYSTEM
For Ashley, I wanted fonts that felt luxe and elegant. I knew that a serif and script font duo would be the best fit as I would probably be designing logos and visual identity components that incorporated both. I landed on the La Luxes script and serif font duo and it was literal perfection for this project. I also love love love the Ivy Presto font face and balanced the whole font system out with Futura Pt light. One of my favorite sans serif fonts with class [for the Canva users out there, glacial indifference and questrial are v. close to this font face!
THE VISUAL IDENTITY SYSTEM
When I sat down to sketch out my ideas for Ashely’s logo suite, I knew that I wanted something very clean and classic. I also very much loved the idea of playing with stars as a brand mark. Less is always more. Images and video are a big part of Ashley’s content and having a rather simple logo lets these elements breathe.
